Google CES Exhibition

As the world's largest tech conference, CES has become the biggest stage and spotlight for brands trailblazing in tech and innovation. Despite this exciting reputation and platform, the brand presence displayed here year after year has become somewhat formulaic and soulless as technology for technology's sake overshadows the story and its real-world applications to our lives. Google and Android wanted to cut against this tendency and bring back the humanity in technology with their "Do More" exhibition at CES 2024.

We holistically tackled this challenge from beginning to end—from creative concepting all the way to production and fabrication—and brought playful delight to over 100,000 CES attendees with an 18,000 sq. ft. Route 66-inspired visitor's plaza featuring over a dozen interactive demos across four themed substructures.

Route 66 Nostalgia

The activation was divided into 4 main substructures each skinned with a nostalgic Route-66 motif. The main exhibition hall served as the Welcome Center featuring museum-like displays, photobooths, postcards, stickers, tatts and more.

Other demo spaces included a cozy diner/cafe complete with Android pun-filled jukebox, Foldables souvenir/gift shop and an EV gas station and pumps for Android Auto.

Creatively Showcasing Android Features

Each interactive demo showcased upcoming Android features and were creatively skinned to support the larger theme of the rooms they lived in.
